Camping pitches

The camping provides around 20 spacious camping spots at a slightly sloping terrain with many trees. The places are not marked, there is enough space for all guests.

There are sunny spots and also more than enough shadow.

After unloading the car, you can park it at the entrance, so that the camping site remains lovely and peaceful.

You can have a 220V/6Amp connection at all places.

Rental accomodations

Would you rather have a ready to use and already furnished accommodation?

There is a spacious comfort tent for rent. It is furnished with all you need for a comfortable stay.

Also there is a fully furnished guesthouse/studio, with a beautiful view over the campsite.

With these rental accommodations comes the possibility to rent a small dome tent for extra sleeping space.

Swimming pool

The swimming pool (32m2) is warmed by solar-energy and is lovely refreshing. Next to the swimming pool you will find sun loungers and if you are lucky you can take a nap in the hammock hanging under the trees…

The swimming pool is filled with water from our own water source. No artificial chloride is used but salt electrolyse, a clean and natural way to keep the swimming water clean and fresh.

Nearby the pool you will find a playground with trampoline, climbing bars and swing. You will also find a table tennis table and a double dartboard to entertain all ages!

Sanitary building

Centrally located on the site you will find a toilet block, it contains several showers, toilets and sinks. Warm water is available and free.

At the backside of the building you will find washing basins with hot and cold streaming water and a simple kitchen corner to cook or warm your meal.

For a fee you can use a washing machine and there are laundry lines.

Furthermore, there is a possibility to empty your mobile (‘chemical’) toilet. We highly appreciate it if you use biodegradable toilet fluids.

Accessibility

The terrain is slightly sloping, however, there have been several guests with a mobility scooter or wheel chairs who didn’t find any problems moving around the terrain. Be aware however, that the sandy soil makes it a challenge sometimes.

In the toilet block are special showers and toilets for the disabled.

Food and drinks

Bread roll service is offered in the mornings!

Between mid-May and mid-August there will be the possibility to get a take-away meal or eat together in the seating area near the old tanya. If possible, inform and book a day in advance, so that we can take purchases into account.
Last-minute? Let’s see what is possible!

For our guests we also have lovely local Hungarian wines, beer and other fresh drinks and icecream.

Also we are making Vin de Noix (a walnut liquor) and Pálinka (Hungarian Eau de Vie) from our own fruits and walnuts.

Dogs/pets

Dogs are welcome at the camping, max. 3 per place. Please tell us if you’d like to bring your dog. Cats travelling with you are also welcome, just make sure they stay with you.

Dogs must be on a leash at the campsite.

Immediately around the campsite is an extensive walking area, where they can run freely if desired!

My own loyal friends are the doggies Barát (Hungarian for “friend”), and Kaya and a little cat called Kléo.

Sustainability

At the camping you are able to use water from our own source!
This has been tested as excellent drinking water.

At this moment the swimming pool and the water in the toilet block are both being warmed by solar-energy. In the upcoming years we’d like to expand this, to use more of this natural energy!

Furthermore, we use biodegradable cleaning and laundry soap.

In the kitchen we work with a no-waste principle: almost everything is being used and raw fruit and vegetable waste is being composted.
