Please do not take any unknown dirt road!

How to get here

It is important to not ‘blindly’ navigate on the coördinates or our adress, but in stead follow the directions below. Do not take any unknown dirt road (without seeing our camping sign). The exit near Harkakötöny for example, is NOT suitable for most motorhomes, vans, caravans and cars-low-on-wheels!

I’m coming by car, campervan, motorhome

Follow my instructions and remember do not take any unknown dirt road (without seeing our camping sign)

I’m coming by (motor)bike

That is possible, but read more information about it.

I’m coming with public transport

There’s a bus stop near our camping at 2,5 km. The nearest town is at 11 km.

Follow these directions

Arriving by car, campervan or motorhome

Coming from

North/Budapest/M5

Take the exit Kiskunmajsa (any exit more north will lead you on bad roads!) and first navigate through this town toward Kiskunhalas.
Ignore the exit near Harkakötöny unless you have a 4×4.

When you reach Kiskhunhalas don’t go into the city center but follow the road you are on, direction Szeged (you will come across some houses, shops, train crossover).

When you exit Kiskunhalas you have to drive another 7 kilometers towards Zsana.

Halfway between Kiskunhalas and Zsana there are signs on both sides of the road with “Camping 50 meters”

Don’t drive too fast because you’ll be past it in no time! (it is less than 50 meters)

Then turn onto this dirt road. After 1 km there is a camping sign and after 2 km again. Now turn right and you will see the campsite.

Coming from

Romania/via Szeged

Leave the M5 near Szeged and follow the road through Üllés towards Kiskunhalas.

When you pass Zsana you have to drive another 6 kilometers towards Kiskunhalas.

Coming from

Kiskunhalas (Serbia, Tompa and other directions)

From Kiskunhalas, take the road to Zsana/Szeged (called Szegedi ut).

After you leave Kiskunhalas you have to drive about 7 kilometers towards Zsana.

Do not forget…

The motorway vignette (matrica)

A motorway vignette (matrica) is required if you take a M-road, you have to register within one hour after you enter the motorway. Vignets are for sale at any gas station and also online.

There is no need to stick a vignette behind the windscreen, checks are carried out by means of a video recording.

Valid for: 1 day, 10 days, 1 month or 1 year.
Passenger cars with or without caravan are group D, motorhomes are group D2.

What you should know

Arriving by (motor)bike

20240519 180319

Sometimes we have guests arriving by (motor)bike. That is possible and you are very welcome, but to prevent disappointment I would like to warn you that during the summer season it is hard to cycle on the dirt road because the sand is very dry and loose. You will sometimes have to walk part of the 2,5 km from the main road to here. So please consider if you can and will be up to this, especially if you can only stay for one night? Ofcourse you can contact me if in doubt about the present conditions.

To get here: halfway between Zsana and Kiskunhalas there are signs on both sides of the road with “Camping 50 meters”. Check above instructions for cars for more details if needed.

Turn onto this dirt road. After 1 km there is a camping sign and after 2 km again. Now turn right and you will see the campsite.

There are a lot more sand roads to get here. Some will be shorter, some will be in better condition, some will be worse. Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell or predict.

How to get there
