Location of Oázis Tanya

The tanya (a Hungarian “homestead”) is located in the middle of the southern puszta, a dry and rugged steppe-like area. But as soon as you enter the site, you will find space, grassland, a swimming pool filled with water from our own water source, chirping birds and shade from the trees.

Hi, I’m Alies

I am originally from the Netherlands and I live in Hungary at the Oázis Tanya since April 2021.

I enjoy living in the middle of nature, taking walks with my dogs Barát and Kaya, cuddling with my cat Kléo and sharing this beautiful place with friends, family and guests.

What are the opening dates and times of the campsite?

The camping is open from April 15 – October 15. Retreat and volunteering is possible throughout the whole year, just as renting the guesthouse.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eArrival on the camping preferably between 14 and 20 o’clock, please contact me for other arrival times. After 22 o’clock no vehicles are allowed on the camping, to ensure the rest of our dear guests.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed for a small fee per night. Dogs should be on the leash and a maximum of three dogs per place. Immediately outside the camping there is plenty of space to walk your dogs in nature.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

It is not strictly necessary to make a reservation for a camping place, but a message is appreciated, especially if you expect an early or late arrival. In the months of July and August it might be a good idea to reserve a spot. Rental accommodations should be booked in advance. Please contact me or see the pricelist!
